Question:
What if I am unable to attend SOAR?
Answer:
SOAR is highly recommend for all incoming freshmen and transfer students. Sessions are offered throughout June and July, with additional make-up sessions at the end of August. Students who do not attend SOAR will be allowed to enroll in courses the Friday before classes begin. Students should be aware that their enrollment will occur after students who have attended SOAR have enrolled in course, availability of courses may be diminished. In addition, SOAR is the only way for incoming students to receive academic advising. Another option for those who can't attend any summer SOAR sessions is to attend the late August SOAR session. Student who are interested in the August SOAR option should contact the SOAR office at 608/262-4707.These sessions are one day, condensed sessions right before school starts.
