Paying Your SOAR Fees

Payment Process

SOAR fees will be billed approximately two weeks prior to your session, not at the time of making your reservation. Students should check their email for a link to our secure online payment system. For security reasons, SOAR staff cannot take payments over the phone.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Because resources are committed in advance of your attendance, refund requests for Parent and Guest program and pre-paid parking fees must be submitted at least one week prior to your SOAR session.

Note: Changes made less than one week before your SOAR session will not be eligible for refunds, except in extraordinary cases.

Financial Assistance for SOAR

The university has limited funds available to assist students in paying costs associated with SOAR. To qualify, the Office of Student Financial Aid must have your FAFSA information and all requested documentation. Students must also meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Be eligible to receive a federal Pell grant
  2. Be eligible for Bucky’s Tuition Promise
  3. OR be a participant in the Bucky’s Pell Pathway or BANNER programs

Students can check their financial aid status in the Student Center on MyUW. Students who meet these criteria will have their optional SOAR program fees waived on their reservation. Please confirm that financial assistance is accurately reflected in the SOAR Reservation System.
